During Sunday service, we offer a time for the children to have a service of their own. The children begin the service with their parents in the sanctuary. They are then asked to come forward for the children’s sermon and then excused with the teacher for their very own time in God’s Big House (otherwise known as Children’s Church).
On the first Sunday of each month we offer communion to the children, just like the adults. Each Sunday the children are taught a special lesson tailored just for them. We follow up the lesson time with a relatable craft and/or game. The object is to keep the lesson light, fun and interesting so they feel they can relate to it. We ask them to take the information they’ve learned and share it with their families.
